Why Allie
The YCS Board of Education and the Executive Cabinet support all students and ensure they have the skills to be successful. The Board of Education is committed to the school district and Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Township communities.
I am running for a seat on the Board of Education because I share these goals and have the experience and passion to aid the pursuits of Ypsilanti Community Schools.
The school district's efforts should be to help students and, in turn, the greater community. Still, most of these efforts instead focus on defending certified staff and their practices from the unaware and uninformed exercises of book-banning, curriculum manipulations, and fanatic agendas.
